Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Cardenas.
Hi Andrea, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a foreign medical doctor who migrated to the united states from Venezuela in 2015, not knowing what this country had for me. With faith and a lot of effort started re-studying to become an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner and Olam Med Spa became the open door to not only provide an experience of services but, also to experiment on a journey as an entrepreneur, as a leader and be able to bless the community around us.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would sure say as, in any beginning, there are always little stones on the road. Being an immigrant, the language, and the adaptation to different rules, protocols, and cultures were some of the struggles. Also, being part of a business that started from zero, made me more determined to overcome those obstacles and achieve my dreams.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am in the world of medical aesthetics. With over 10 years of experience, my passion is driven by beautifying people’s faces and guiding them to achieve the best version of their skin. I am known for the time I dedícate to every person who passes through my hands helping them with their aesthetic concern and self-esteem with softness when delivering procedures and services. We become a family and we build long-term patient-provider relationships.
What was you like growing up?
I would define myself in my earlier years as an extroverted nerd. Always differentiate because of my young age in every milestone I took professionally. I have a passion for serving, whether it is singing, dancing, acting, or anything that involves art. If I had the time for it, “count on me” was my line
