Community Highlights: Meet Ivette Lopez of I.M Marketing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ivette Lopez.

Hi Ivette, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It all started in 2018. I was constantly posting pictures of food on my page. It was so frequent that I decided to start a page to post all of my foodie adventures. I opened the @TheMoodyFoodies_Fl page with my brother’s girlfriend, Janice, and a long-time family friend, Ana. We ran it together for some time, but later I decided to venture off and create my brand. In November 2021, @iviethefoodie was born! Now I’m focusing on foodie and lifestyle adventures.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been easy but it hasn’t been extremely difficult. Most of the time I’m having a blast. Who could blame me? I’m trying out delicious food spots and creating drool-worthy content. It gets challenging when it comes to scheduling matters.

I am currently studying to get my Master’s in Global Strategic Communications and a portfolio in copywriting with FIU & Miami Ad School. Additionally, I work part-time as a creative lead at Heyday Marketing. I’m busy every single day. But it’s like that saying, “when there’s a will, there’s a way”!

We’ve been impressed with I.M Marketing, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Since working at Heyday Marketing and starting my foodie page, I’ve learned several things along the way. One important thing I learned is the insane demand there is for “User Generated Content”. UGC is original, brand-specific content created by REAL PEOPLE. My boyfriend, Marlon, and I decided to start our business, I.M Creative. We specialize in UGC, copywriting, and influencer marketing.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
People can support me by engaging with my content, visiting the places I go to and giving me their honest feedback, and suggesting content ideas/restaurant recommendations!
