Today we’d like to introduce you to Sade Escarment. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Coming from an African and Haitian background, Folasade Escarment picked up dance at the early age of three years old. Born and raised in Miami FL she began to attract a large audience from school dancing with the marching band, headlining in school performances, and through her intensive training with PAN Miami (Pan Performing Arts studio). Here at PAN she also picked up training in Acting, Piano, and different styles of dance. After graduating High school her dance career phenomenally! Took off booking jobs with multiple artists like The Taylor Girlz, DLOW, Sukihana, Trap Beckham DJ Schreach. Meek Mills artist TAFIA. Major Nine, Anuel, Kodak black, pheelz, and many more. Dropping consistent content on social media, she got the attention of more major artists such as Missey Elliot, City Girls, Tina Braxton and Antonio Brown, and more. From here on her journey has been taking her in the direction it was destined to Take.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been pretty smooth, but a few little bumps in the road I would say is the hate, the hateful comments, the people I thought had love for me changing on me the typical things most creators or people like me go through. But In the end, when people see your hard work paying off and the reason you did certain things .. it all makes sense and those same people come back around.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a professional dancer/choreographer sometimes I model. I’m well known for that especially in my hometown Miami. I’ve helped a lot of dancers and have given a lot of other dancers advice, help them make money. I Teach dance classes. I have worked and coached kids. I always like to tell others positive things to steer them the right way, it’s a lot of negativity out here and not enough positivity, so when I get a chance to just let my light and knowledge shine on others I’m always happy to do so. The dancer world can be very uncomfortable sometimes due to how many dancers it actually is in the world… lol, the competition and things as such but we all have a gift or passion of the same thing so why not just keep it comfortable and enjoy it together. I know some people that dance for the money or fame… but I do it because it’s a getaway for me an escape from the madness and stress. It’s a high to me. It’s something I know I was born to do and it makes me feel good and keeps me in a good space. I get messages from a lot of people telling me how much I inspire them or how happy it makes them just to see me doing what I love which is dance and actually going far with it.

What’s next?
I have quite a few plans for the future. I know that I wasn’t to get into TV, my character is definitely fit for it, lol. I have a few businesses I want to open up as well. Giving back to the community and helping the younger ones coming up is something I am very big on doing.
