Hi Valeria, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am 22 years old. I studied culinary arts in Peru, as part of my internships, I worked in The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour and Bachour Miami, where I learned the most about pastry and experience. Since I was a little kid, I fell in love with pastry, my grandma who passed away a year ago, was the one who taught me all the most important recipes for cakes and so on, so that is why I decided to create my small business with everything I learned and based on selling macarons, Alfajores, decorated cakes for birthdays, weddings, and any important occasion, as well I offer services for complete catering of dessert tables and Peruvian food if someone asks. As for now, I am located in North Miami Beach, selling my products from home with so much love and my Peruvian background honoring my grandmother’s memory.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think there is never a smooth road when you are starting a business, I have had up and downs along the road, and several people have close the doors on my face, but that have not stopped me to keep going to accomplish what I most want which is people to get to know me for selling the best pastries in the world!

What I am known the most is for building cakes, macarons and special desserts with delicious and new flavors. I am proud of the quality I offer in all of my products, I think what sets me apart from others is the innovation in flavors mixed with my Peruvian roots as well as the quality and love out in every order.
