Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica Aristide.
Hi Erica, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m an aspiring fashion stylist who goes by the name ‘E Thee Stylist’ here in South Miami, Florida.
Growing up, I never had the chance to express myself with the tools of garments. When I was eight years of age, my mother lost custody of me due to child abuse & in result, my father gained custody of me until I reached junior high.
My mother is a fashionista & has always gave me the opportunity to be creative with my outfits, so when I was removed from her custody, it left me in a vapid position in my youth. My father has always been a desultory parent, so for me to then live in his custody was a chance of amelioration; so I thought.
My self-esteem truly went from 10,000 to 100 real quick! I winded up going to school with shoes, clothes, and low confidence that was not altered for me. This was the initial point to a bland lifestyle.
As time flowed by, I realized that I became a window shopper. Whenever I’ll go to this mall called ‘163rd’ I’ll go to my favorite store named ‘Traffic’. This store had everything I ever wanted from the stylish purses, chic dresses, glitzy jewelry, & my favorite thee shoes. This shop was known for their heels, sandals, and boots which is an enticing part of every girl’s appearance, her walk.
Here’s a witty story. I remember going back to school shopping with my father. And after purchasing my school supplies and uniform, we’ll purchase my sneakers. My father had one shoe a year policy & I know I am not the only child who’s experienced this. This affected me to always pick shoes that were smaller because they made my feet appear more alluring cause of the hype at the time that “girls with smaller feet are pretty”. I was then 12 years of age picking shoes that were a size 6 and I knew I was truly a size 7 1/2, I didn’t only do that mainly because of the hype, but also cause my father was a cheap father. So at my age then I learned that less is more & thee smaller a person feet is results in an inexpensive price and also that I’ll look pretty even if it has to hurt. And until then, window shopping became my favorite sport.
I got older and knew that I will one day be able to truly get everything I needed to become the person I desired to be.
Fast forward now, I am 20 years of age & I’ve experienced so many fashionable ways to express myself. I was in my caterpillar position in life where I was indulging into multiple fields of expression; for example, sports, baking goods, jewelry making, hair, & pole dancing. That’s just to name a few. Anything that felt therapeutic & resonated for me was a journey worth diving into. I now am certain that becoming a fashion stylist is my calling. For the saying that goes “When the student is ready, the teacher shall appear.”
Becoming a fashion stylist is more that just being good at what I do, it’s me taking those window shopping moments and printing them out into tangible possessions with a concoction of sharing my story & my model’s dream of being glamorous.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Great question. I have been experiencing some obstacles that enlighten me along the way in my passion of aspiring to become a fashion stylist. For I am currently a virtual stylist & I do come across certain items that just aren’t in my desired angle for the outfit I’m creating. I know this is an introduction on how bad do I really want to become the seasoned stylist I have the potential to be.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a certified home care aide who works at Snatched N’ Cure Recovery Home for dolls who are in need of a healing home after receiving a surgical enhancement. Snatched N’ Curve Recovery Home is authentically like no other & I’ll let thee reviews tell you why. Search us on Facebook, Instagram, & TikTok for more info @SnatchedNCurved. I am known for my nurturing & learning spirit.
What I love about Snatched N’ Curve Recovery Home is that there is always an opportunity to grow. Interacting with dolls from all over the globe is my favorite especially when it comes to exchanging testimonials amongst the dolls.
