Today we’d like to introduce you to Worldeater. Them and their team share their story with us below:
The band started in July of 2021 by guitarist/vocalist Alex Smith and drummer Rexx Fischer. And later on, in October of 2021, recruited Bugzy Bell.
We got where we are today with a lot of hard work and patients. We are pushing ourselves beyond our limits musical-wise to bring the listener the best experience.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a smooth road, but that’s part of the process.
Some of our struggles are definitely not enough time in the practice room. We all work during the day and have been lucky enough right now to get together twice a week. We all live pretty far from each other as well our drummer is in Miami, our bassist is in West Palm and our guitarist is in Broward. Also, we all come from different musical backgrounds, so learning each others playing styles and incorporating into songs was definitely difficult at first.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We are a Metal band from South Florida. We specialize in bringing heavy riffs, hard-hitting drums and methodical lyrics. We are most proud of our up-and-coming album which will be released soon.
One thing that really sets us apart is we have a more black n roll musical style. Which here in South Florida is a lot more of the hardcore and death metal scene.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next five years, we set our sights on playing festivals such as Wacken, Hellfest, Psycho Las Vegas. we just love to play music together, love our supporters who come out to the shows. We’re not really trying to follow any trends, once in the rehearsal space our focus is just creating music as a group, we make changes to our music along the way but that’s due to our skill levels increasing and the vision for the song has changed.
