Meet Tiffany Hamilton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Hamilton.

Hi Tiffany, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I personally struggled with debilitating migraines and was desperate for relief.

I educated myself becoming first a master herbalist, second a psychological food coach, and most recently a holistic practitioner. I learned so much about holistic health and applied it to my life.

I felt like I had to share this with people who were looking for an alternative. I did just that! The name is in reference to my hearing loss, I am 50% deaf in both ears and I want to bring awareness to the deaf/hoh community. On paper, we are marked disabled, but I beg to differ.

I fold capable to be a successful entry despite my hearing loss.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolute not! People question the name and act as if they don’t understand why I named my business Fresh to Deaf. I have on my flyers “be kind always “ because this world is harsh and judgmental about things they don’t understand.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a plant-based cafe owner specializing in living foods.

I am known for my artistic consistent food displays. I believe that you eat first with your eyes and so it is important to me to capture my customer first with the Beauty of my food. I am proud to be a successful, melanated, female, deaf entrepreneur.

God chose my path and only I can walk it, that’s what separates me, simply walking my walk. Everyone has their own journey and only they can travel it.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I first give all the glory to God for choosing me. My family for supporting me and cheering me on amongst the adversity that’s involved with being a melanated entrepreneur.

Every single one of my customers organically supports FTD without them my cafe would not be here.
