Today we’d like to introduce you to Claudia Moreno.
Hi Claudia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I had this small canon point-and-shoot camera in middle school and I took it everywhere with me. Just taking pictures of my friends. It was like carrying a phone around. Then I upgraded to DSLR but it’s still a canon. Still photographing my friends, I always liked photographing people more than anything.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Being a free-lance photographer means you work when someone wants a photoshoot and you never know when that’ll be. Some weeks I’m editing and shooting multiple photoshoots and some I’m doing some other hobbies just to keep busy.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a photographer based in Miami, FL. I specialize in photographing people. Family, couples, kids, brands, headshots. Almost anything that involves a person. I shoot mainly outdoor photography.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
More work. Having more shots. Photographing weddings more often, I’ve only done a few weddings, I’d love to do more throughout the years. Work on personal projects, I have ideas but sometimes I don’t execute them.
