Today we’d like to introduce you to Mariela Rossel Pritikin.
Hi Mariela, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I began my career in real estate in 2018 focusing on the residential side. I now work in commercial real estate with a focus on retail and office helping business owners and investors find locations to build success.
I work with independent business owners, franchises, and corporate owner users both domestic and foreign. I love what I do and can’t imagine doing anything else that I would enjoy as much.
Helping business owners grow their business is a privilege that brings me a great deal of satisfaction.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all, I don’t know anyone that can say it has been a smooth road working towards their goals. Along with the common ups and downs, one may be challenged within sales, we also had to deal with a pandemic for two years which we are still dealing with.
Other challenges can be found in the implicit or explicit bias I have experienced as a woman in a male-dominated field. At this point in my life, I don’t let it affect my upward trajectory, I wake up every morning, put one foot in front of the other and keep going. Barring major health issues, I just keep working towards my goals.
As you know, we’re big fans of KW Commercial. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
KW Commercial is the commercial division of Keller Williams Realty. KW Commercial has a presence across the United States and selected countries around the world where Keller Williams’ offices can be found. Our team, the Martinez Team, is based in the Pembroke Pines Keller Williams office and we help buyers, tenants, landlords, and sellers create successful transactions.
I am a retail and office specialist and help those looking for professional office settings and retail locations (both dry and wet products and services). I have worked with small independent business owners, franchisees and franchisors, corporations, and professional firms to find locations in Broward and Miami Dade.
Although my office is based in Pembroke Pines, my scope of work has a heavy emphasis in Miami (Kendall to Coral Gables), where I am based. I am proud of my work with start-up franchises that come here from other countries like small coffee shops, restaurants, med spas, etc.
I like helping entrepreneurs build their businesses and providing resources and tools in their search that can help them be successful. I find helping business owners to be a privilege that I don’t take lightly, I care about their success, and finding the right location is a key part of that.
What are your plans for the future?
As I grow in my career I hope to represent larger companies and franchises that would like to establish a footprint in South Florida. Our community has always benefitted from a diverse array of services and products and I can see that growing in the future.
I welcome the opportunities the future holds for me and look forward to reaching them… or the adventure in finding them!
