Today we’d like to introduce you to Danterious Brown.
Hi Danterious, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My entertainment career began back in 2014 during my sophomore year at The Florida A&M University, During my time at Florida A&M, I was building my portfolio to become a sports agent which birthed the start of my first company Clutchtime Media Group, Under Clutchtime media, I assisted college athletes in developing practical branding strategies and tactics to build a presence on and off the field. This got me noticed by players at both FAMU and Florida State University. My strategies focused on the idea of leveraging social media to create a presence within a niche community. This would in turn help athletes build a fan base that will open doors to receive endorsements from potential sponsors. The turning point came when I was approached by a representative of the university that informed me I would have to cease the services I was providing if I didn’t want to be sued. Since the idea of athletes profiting from their name and likeness didn’t come into play until July of 2021, this great idea was way ahead of its time.
Following the unfortunate news, I was left with a decision to pivot. At the time I was a part of the well-known collegiate dance organization Strikers Dance Troupe where I served as Costume director, rehearsal director, and later organization’s president under the leadership of Mr. Shepiro Hardemon. During my time as a Striker, I came across a classmate of mine by the name of Charades who was buzzing on campus as the hottest female rapper “They weren’t lying the chick could spit”. After a time of consistently crossing paths, we started a friendship that migrated into a working relationship when I asked her for the opportunity to join her team. Which consisted of me working on creative marketing tactics that could be used to increase her presence and I must say we covered a lot of ground. While working with Charades I was introduced to another talent by the name of Mal Forte who at the time was being managed by local business Trigga Squad promotions. Working alongside his manager I was able to learn alot of the dos and don’ts in music I also got the chance to expand my knowledge in creative direction and managing online campaigns. These campaigns were the catalyst to the beginning of my forever.
During the summer of 2016, I was in the process of looking for an internship and decided I wanted to work with a music label. Knowing that Miami was the home to the legendary Slip-N-Slide Records I felt what a better way to get my foot in than door than to work for the label I have always been a fan of. Funny thing, after a few days of emailing the office manager I decided I would take matters into my own hands and just showed up at the office UNANNOUNCED. I remember like it was yesterday when I showed up the CEO Ted Lucas opened the door and ask “Can I help you” I said, ” Yes, I have an interview today with Kisha”. KNOOOOWWWING I had no confirmed interview. Since I showed up professionally dressed and prepared they agreed to see me. After providing a presentation on what I could offer the company I was hired and started work the next day, AMAZING RIGHT!.
I worked at Slip-N-Slide records for the next three years where I took on the roles of Street team manager, Road Manager, and Project Manager. My time at Slip-N-Slide Records kick-started my professional portfolio seeing that it allowed me to immerse myself around other industry professionals and learn the skills needed to elevate an artist’s music career. Slip-N-Slide Records is a crucial part of my journey because it was my Bootcamp.
Fast forward to today, I currently run a strategic planning entertainment agency that provides hands-on creative services. By the name of Premiere 4wd Media Group. We specialize in creating content development, marketing, branding, public relations, social media optimization, and strategic planning campaigns for aspiring and established entertainment professionals. Clients range from recording artists, production companies, music labels, athletes, and social media influencers.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
On this journey to success, it has gotten pretty hard to manage at times. Often times people think that being an entrepreneur is all peaches and cream 24/7 but it isn’t. Over the years I have suffered from extreme depression due to constantly having to adjust to setbacks such as the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. Just as my career was reaching new heights I literally lost everything and had to work my nails into the ground and gain it all back. This definitely made me a stronger human being on the brighter side. In addition, at the start of this year, I lost my father to a battle with cancer. My father was one of the biggest supporters of my career path and losing him at a time when I felt like I needed him the most hurt more than anything I ever encountered.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Premiere 4wd Media Group?

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Over the years my mentors have been a big help to my success and I can truly say if it wasn’t for some of the conversations I’ve had with them and the advice they have provided me I would probably be misled.
I would like to shine a light on my business partner Antonio Miller of Miller Ent Group. Within this partnership, we also manage both upcoming and established recording artists Hip-Hop Star Euro Gotit-Atlanta, and the Sunshine state sweetheart MaxKaella-Miami.
