Hi Karina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
iKnowledge started in 2016 as a result of our passion for teaching technology, no matter the level of expertise or background of business owners. What is so exciting about what we do is that we train entrepreneurs and individuals on how to use of technology for rapid and efficient growth, always listening carefully to their goals, timeframe and resources.
For example, if a business needs to learn more about Excel we put together a learning plan specially designed for their unique needs and make sure that their learning experience is the best it could be.
As the co-founder, my journey began while working in the IT support department for large organizations for about 20 years. The first time I started training end-users of a Sales department on how to use Outlook that’s when the realization came to me: teaching was not only fun but rewarding. While working with complex technologies and custom-made applications, my goal was then to provide excellent IT support but also the best training, manuals, and any resources that would make their work more enjoyable and efficient.
Today we continue to train businesses of all calibers and we are happy that their success is our success. We also want to contribute with free and accessible technology training through our social media, our YouTube channel and free live trainings through SCORE Broward.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Before the pandemic, most of our trainings were conducted in-person with multiple students at a time. As a company, we adapted to the circumstances and transferred our trainings online. To expand our reach and help more students we expanded our social media, online tutorials, online courses, and webinars.

Our mission is to help business owners improve their skills with technology, and make sure they are successful with the training and resources provided.
iKnowledge School has a proven track record of successfully implementing learning processes to companies and individuals across South Florida. Our team has worked on large projects within high-caliber teams such as Miami-Dade Family Learning Partnership, Carolina’s Pediatric Emergency Fellowship, Pollo Tropical and others.
We train business professionals to develop their skills in Excel, Digital Marketing that includes E-mail marketing, Web design, social media training, and Office 365. For students that need a flexible schedule, we offer online courses, free trainings and tutorials through our website.
Our versatility and dynamic approach in training & development has set us apart throughout the years. We produce engaging, highly interactive training programs that are aligned to what our clients need to be successful.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
A mentor will give you a fresh perspective on things and their advice is based on years of experience. Organizations like SCORE will pair your businesses with a mentor that will help you grow for free. We appreciate the work they do and we are pleased to be one of their volunteers. Join online network groups and social media channels that you feel most comfortable with so your business can grow organically.
