Today we’d like to introduce you to John Veiga.
Hi John, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always loved music, it’s just in me. It all started with a PlayStation one and a game called beat maker. Ever since then, with a few time lapses where I strayed away from music to experience life. But it’s been over 20 years now, and I’m in full force.
I pride myself in being an artist and songwriter, but I also wear a multitude of other hats which in turn allow me to make full productions on my own.
In recent years, I’ve been developing artists and guiding them in the right direction for their music, something I never had growing up. But in a nutshell John Michael Veiga’s and JPOPD1 have become one. It all started with just the curiosity of wanting to put simple sounds. Together and just listen to good music I made.
Today, we are on the verge of many successes personally and professionally, including discovering a Journey filled with self-enlightenment and memories that can never be replaced with a team that does nothing less than inspire and push us to work harder.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road at all. I’ve always had many encounters and run-ins with the law, thus delaying my process to mainstream stages.
Be it being under arrest, house arrest probation, there has always been an obstacle for me to overcome in pursuing such an uncertain music career. This type of path can leave you with many uncertainties that lead to bad decisions.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Jpopd1 is a brand. Artist, writer, producer, author, and actor.
I’m most known for my collaborations with many local and mainstream artists in the production aspect of the business.
But with a vast catalogue of music, artistry is my main focus and recognizable trait.
My music can be downloaded and streamed worldwide, along with missings from other artists in which I was a part of conception Thru release of some great and recognizable projects.
What are your plans for the future?
The goal is to grow a team. Take everyone I believe in, incest hard work, smart work, time and effort Into developing them as artist, musicians but first and foremost, people and human beings first.
It’s all about the positivity of life and how we can pay it forward with our words and actions. The future is beeping every day we are alive, so we just want to continue pushing forward in the rig by direction.
