Cilverbow Botanicals Nail Salon located in Downtown Miami was a lifelong dream that became a reality in 2021. After serving as a licensed Full Specialist for the past 10 years and managing a popular men’s salon in Miami, I decided it was time to take a leap of faith to build a salon from the ground up from my vision and vegan nail care line. The core of Cilverbow Botanicals is a reflection of my own vision: a nontoxic, vegan and environmentally friendly nail salon with the focus on natural nail care while building strong relationships with locals in the community by educating my clients on the health and structure of their natural nails. After establishing the core values of Cilverbow Botanicals, I developed a business plan that made me realize I had a viable concept. The business plan served as an affirmation that allowed me to believe in myself because my years of expertise and professional recommendations were making a positive impact in my clients’ health and beauty decisions in the nail industry.
The Cilverbow Botanicals Nail Care Product Line grew out of the business plan because the secret to having healthy glowing nails and skin requires both at-home and professional care. As a result, I formulated the vegan nail care products and nail spa treatments for people with specific nail health needs and the health-conscious individuals alike. My nail care products not only delivers safe and obvious results naturally, but they also have no ill effects to the environment. Additionally, it provides clients the opportunity to have a professional nail salon experience whether it be a manicure or pedicure right in the comfort of their own home.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In my first year of business, I overcame extreme adversity such as being my own employee while serving as business owner; building a client base from scratch; and not having an online presence as a nail salon which is the lifeline to any business to be successful in today’s realm. I decided to consult with a legal business professional—Masterly Legal Solutions — which provides me guidance on getting reviews from new clients; receive traffic via social media platforms; brand development; and utilizing email marketing to bring traffic to my website.
Today, Cilverbow Botanicals is now the #1 rated nontoxic nail salon in Miami, Florida and has a perfect 5-star rating on Google and other platforms such as Yelp, ClassPass, and Groupon. It was not an easy process to get to this point but I am thankful for such a committed client base and my support system.
As for the future of Cilverbow Botanicals, it is looking very bright because I am now at a place in my professional career where I am in the production process of launching educational courses on natural nail care, vegan alternative products, in salon treatments, and at home nail care treatments. Due to the overwhelming demand of those that believe in my vision of a nontoxic, vegan and environmentally friendly nail salon, I am in the initial stage of developing franchise opportunities, but I want to make sure the franchises are given to investors that share my same vision. Be on the lookout for a Cilverbow Botanicals coming to a neighborhood near you and its first location coming soon to another state which will be announced this summer.

Cilverbow Botanicals nail salon services are by reservation only. We specialize in natural nail care, natural nail repairs, acrylic and gel removals, cuticle care, callus removals, foot soaks, hand and foot massage and much more. What sets us apart from other nail salons in Miami is that we focus on the root of problem when it comes to nail care without covering it up with a coat of polish. We want to help improve the health of natural nails all over Miami one manicure at a time. What was your favorite childhood memory?
There are so many wonderful memories to pick from but my favorite memory is when I was growing up in Harlem, New York, I would always be at my divine Godfather, Todd Bruno’s hair salon. I loved watching him treat his clients hair over the years, listening to his stories, and seeing how that experience brought so much joy one head at a time. From this experience, I make it a priority to know my clients, so I can bring them joy like my Godfather but one hand at a time. Cilverbow Botanicals gives me the opportunity to go on this journey of life and health with my own clients.
