Hi Jokes, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a Miami native, former graffiti artist, and hip hop enthusiast who fell in love with storytelling and moving images. I started working on Tv and then moved into directing music videos and eventually movies and series.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Many of the struggles along the way has really been about finding funding and staying independent, I’ve done well but it’s never been easy.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am Film Director, but I also write, produce and edit. I am most known for a Tv show I created in the early 200o’s called “THE ROOF”, My feature film Eenie Meenie Miney Moe, and the Short film Toyed. I am the proudest of my short Toyed, it played in festivals all over the world and won many awards. I think what sets me apart from others is my versatility I have very eclectic and unique tastes and interests and I feel I have a very unique perspective on the world.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love about Miami is the people, love them or hate them there’s nothing like Miami people anywhere in the world. What I like least is how expensive it is getting we used to be the world’s best-kept secret, those days are over.
