Today we’d like to introduce you to Ruby Moros.
Hi Ruby, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Got to Miami from Venezuela nine years ago to study, went to school and graduated in human resources. After practicing Human Resources for a few years, I realized that wasn’t my passion and that I wasn’t happy. I become pregnant with twins and it looked like the right time to quit my office job and find pursue my dream and become and hair and makeup artist. It wasn’t easy, being a stay home mom of twins, starting your own business and wanting to build your portfolio at the same time but my Brother Gio, who is a very well-known hair and makeup artist in the industry has led me and help me through my journey.
In a couple of years, I’ve learned so much, improved my hair and makeup techniques, I have met wonderful people, clients and colleges who make this even more enjoyable. I’ve also been able to put my name out there and am working with some of the best and people who I admire so much!
I am proud to belong to Gio Moros Miami to do what I love the most with my best friend (my brother) and to bring happiness and beauty to our loved customers.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not. Miami is a tough market, there is many very talented hair and makeup artist who are already positioned in the industry and trying to compete and to make my own path hasn’t been easy.

This is a family business founded by my brother and CEO Gio Moros. We are hair and makeup artists who deliver beauty and glam at your location. We specialize in weddings, quinceaneras & events.
We also have a studio located in downtown Miami and we offer hair services such as highlights, balayage, keratin, haircuts, etc.
I am very proud to be building a successful business with my brother. We put a lot of love in what we do and our clients know that we believe this is not just about being talented but we also promote the best service for our clients and that’s why they are so loyal to us.
