Hi Maria, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in Venezuela. I am 24 years old and I’ve been living in Miami since 2017. I have a bachelor’s degree in Filmmaking and Video Production from the Miami International University of Art & Design. I’ve been making fashion and lifestyle content on TikTok since September 2021. It started with me just sharing my daily outfits and now I get to work with incredible brands I’ve loved for so many years. I am so happy that I have built a community of wonderful people who share the same interests as me. I love that I can incorporate my two passions, fashion and video into one and share it with the world
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been the smoothest of roads to be honest. Having a full-time job and doing social media at the same time is not easy. Sometimes I am not able to post every day or I run out of ideas but I still push through and remind myself that it’s going to get better.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Film Producer/Editor and a Social Media Influencer. I’ve worked with brands like Revolve, Princess Polly, Motel Rocks and Poshmark. I also have worked in the production of tv shows like Real Housewives of Miami and Love & Hip Hop Miami. I am proud of everything I’ve accomplished so far because getting to work doing what I love is something not a lot of people can relate to. For so many years, I was afraid of pursuing social media because of what other people would say. But the reality is that I was the only person standing in between me and my dreams. I finally realized that life is too short to care about what others may say.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I’ve loved living in Miami. What I like most is that there so many activities and places you can go to. You will never be bored living in this city. What I like least about Miami is the traffic.
