Meet Kyra Rosa of BlendidBody

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyra Rosa.

Hi Kyra, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
So I am a Miami native, born and raised growing up in an environment where movement, health and beauty have been at the forefront of my interests. With my midwest and Caribbean background, I’ve always been connected to the natural ways in which people use the Earth to heal and to be the best strongest version of themselves. Growing up, I wasn’t sure of my purpose but I did know that I wanted to help my community and I knew education was important. After graduating high school, I began at MDC and at the age of 20 became a licensed massage therapist setting a foundation for my personal healing journey. In 2018 I took a leap of faith becoming an entrepreneur and am proud to say that with the power of God, I’m able to still service my community, personal clients, one of the first-ever birthing centers and the first black-owned doula center here in South Florida. I am currently waiting to sit for my NASM certification and am looking forward to where this new field will take me. This is only the beginning of my journey, but I really have to thank everyone who has encouraged me, supported me, and lifted me up because I could not have made it alone.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It wasn’t always smooth, starting and maintaining a business was definitely challenging, but having the discipline to stay focused and the humility to network and meet like-minded people has helped me to grow.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about BlendidBody?
I run and own a business dedicated to offering health & wellness services for women, men and children. I specialize in prenatal care, intimate sugaring, holistic skincare treatments, and at home wellness practices. I am most proud that my brand is known for its’ legitimacy, people are confident when referring to my services and booking appointments.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I like the best about Miami is the weather, what I like the least is the traffic.
