Today we’d like to introduce you to Dario Peretti.
Dario, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m from Argentina originally, come to US 26 years ago doing electronics import and export but in 2009 after the real estate bubble we start along my wife shifting to Real Estate, she starts first as a sales associate and after a couple of years she become a Broker. My self start as property manager, then Realtor and after several years of progress and success, I become a builder and developer of residential and commercial real estate
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We started when no one wanted to be in real estate, after 2008, property value down to the floor, small commissions for a lot of work and no finance available, a lot of difficulties to start in business. After 4 or 5 years, we managed to grown our portfolio of clients (foreign nationals) and started representing another developers in different countries.
In 2017, we started the builder company, after a couple of years of hard work, we did two houses a year, then four a year then eight a year and when we started massive doing more than 20 homes at the same time Covid 19 pandemic start, making really difficult to survive but we did and within a year we manage to close and delivered by April 2021 26 homes.
