Today we’d like to introduce you to Loreana Lonigro.
Hi Loreana, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Arriving in Bradenton, Florida as a boarding student in 2010 to play soccer on a full-ride I have been a lucky kid. Self-disciplined and passioned but still living in a complex world. Due to migratory reasons, after playing D1 and D2 soccer in college and earning a BA in psychology, I decided to stop playing soccer. While living in the city of Miami and going through a transitory season, I began to write the first lyrics of my songs. I also met the love of my life. What began as a venting window has opened new purposes in my life and new ways to see the world that I never imagined experiencing.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No. Distance, doubt, and fear are some feelings that I’ve experienced and learned to overcome.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a rapper! I am a girl born in Maracaibo, Venezuela. I love rapping in both English and Spanish.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Opening your eyes in the morning and knowing that there is a system you put in place that ensures your safety and peace of mind.
