Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Woozencroft.
Hi Nick, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2015, I was working out at the gym in Coral Springs, Florida after recently winning The Karina Nascimento Classic Bodybuilding Show where I was approached by a friend who asked if I had ever considered working as a bodyguard. I declined at first, but he was persistent and finally asked if I would meet with the owner of his company because it could be a great career opportunity for me. So I accepted the meeting, and that’s how my story begins.
After about six months of working with that agency learning the basics, I wanted more and knew I was more than just an average security detail being assigned to random clients every other day. So I decided to venture out on my own, starting my own security firm – Woozencroft Elite Security.
My life quickly changed, I was no longer a normal citizen. Now I had to train and become tactical, physically and mentally prepared for combat – things I wasn’t taught while working for the other agency. From high-profile clients to government details, I jumped at every opportunity. Sleepless nights, no vacation or holidays. Sacrifice was the name of the game.
I didn’t know I would find satisfaction in guiding and protecting others. Once I got into it, I realized when you see the clients as family, you will protect them as family.
My clients past and present have included Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, Tory Lanez, Kodak Black, celebrity jeweler Johnny Dang, Ronnie J, Mello Rackz, Melii, Mariah the Scientist, music video director SpiffTV, Rob Gz, Young Thug, Smokepurpp, Bhad Bahbie, Ozuna, and Maluma. I also was selected by the government to work on-site security detail at Mar A Lago for the President of the United States.
Being a bodyguard and working with my clients also landed me appearances in music videos including Tory Lanez “Most High” and Rick Ross ft Busta Rhymes. We also expanded the business in 2020 to offer luxury SUV rentals and drivers for our clientele.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like with everything in life, it had its potholes along the way. There were droughts of having no clients. I had to make a way – driving Uber, traveling to Miami from West Palm Beach for jobs, and sleeping in my car when hotels were too expensive, or whatever it took. When the pandemic hit, I took a risk and used all my savings to move to Miami with my son to be closer to work opportunities.
All the responsibilities now solely relied on me. Being a single dad, running a security company, doing payroll and accounting, hiring and training guards, plus overhead, there was no longer any Me time or free time! So began the phrases, “team no sleep” and “we don’t dream we grind.”

My friend Frank Delatto introduced me into the whole bodyguard world. The pieces of the puzzle just started falling into place after that. I met a lot of clients working video shoots. A great friend Uno introduced me to Tory Lanez and his security Kevin who has now become a great teammate. I also have to give my son a lot of credit – he has been there with me since day one.
