Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniella Leoni.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
2020 was a year that shook us all from all perspectives. My boyfriend of five years and I were stuck at home with nothing to do, as I had lost my job due to the pandemic and his workload was also significantly reduced; so we decided to put our brains and time to good use and do something productive. In a time where everybody was saving their money to the last cent, we decided to invest in an idea that had been circling our mind for a long time.
Both of us come from a divorce and have learned a lot from that and what it takes to make a relationship work. Through those lessons we’ve been able to build a strong relationship and a life that we are really happy with. The pandemic surfaced a lot of issues for a lot of people and we were able to identify certain common factors and frustrations about people in their relationships. So we decided to come up with a brand designed specifically for couples, providing the tools, products and resources for what we believe could help create stronger connections to your partner.
Our mission is to help individuals and couples connect with each other physically, mentally, and emotionally. We want to help you reignite the fire and maintain the spark that makes intimacy enjoyable and we want to give you the tools to do it. We wanted our brand to have a fresh feel and look so couples who receive these products as a gift feel relaxed and open to experiencing new things in a fun way. Being open to great communication and new experiences could help bring you closer together.
Our objectives are to come up with products that will satisfy all sorts of couples. Whether they are looking to break the routine, some good old romance, or to really spice things up. We want to be a reference of where to go any time you want to give your loved one something special on any occasion.
We believe relationships are an investment that will strengthen as you continue to dedicate time and effort and we want to provide the tools for you to do so without having to think about it so much.
Two years later we can say we have four different products in the market, with four more products in production. We have an established presence in six different countries including USA, Canada, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom and Germany. We are both 100% dedicated to our business and our purpose and we feel very passionate about the value we can bring to your relationships.
Ultimately our goal is to change the world one happy couple at a time. 🙂
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
As any business would its not all been fun and games. After the pandemic restrictions ended, we both went back to our full-time jobs; thus working extra hours in order to keep our project going and afloat. We also went from being a regular couple to also being business partners, which meant we had some different issues to face. Getting to know each other’s work habits and not letting business discussions interfere with our own personal relationship was a lesson we both had to learn and respect. Our biggest concerns mainly focus on keeping our relationship strong and adjusting to a new way of working, as none of this would be worth it if it meant that our relationship would be put at risk.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an early childhood education teacher by profession, but I have a strong background in arts as well. Being able to express my artistic side is a huge part of me as I am a person who is driven by passion and challenges.
Our creative process for our products is done completely by us, from concept to design.
I would say my strongest quality is the fact that I am a huge problem solver. To me, situations can either be complex or complicated, and complicated seems to be a state of mind that I don’t turn to. This allows me to maintain a positive attitude through all walks of life. I’m most proud of being able to live my life with a genuinely grateful heart, taking all lessons as a plan that’s perfect for me, and being able to find joy in the simplicity of things…
How do you define success?
Success to me is being happy with the life that you have. It doesn’t necessarily come attached to money, status or material things.
Time is what has more value to us. As a couple, we talk a lot about what we want from this new business and we both come to the agreement that it is not about making more money, but about making the money, we need to be able to organize our time and spend it however we want to. Anything extra is a plus and a major blessing.
