Life & Work with Carlos Ramos

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carlos Ramos.

Hi Carlos, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Well, six years ago, I decided to work on my own. On that time, I was working as a cake decorator profession that I been doing for more than ten years. But I was wondering what else can I do as a part-time while I’m making more clients, so I was thinking it has to be something that I really like and enjoy at the same time. And that’s where the message came from, so I went to school to get my license and thats the best decision I ever made, so while I was doing cakes I star working on massage as well until I get enough clients now all my clients from cakes are the same clients for massage and I’m still building a new ones.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Well, when I became a massage therapist, I did not know too much people so I star charging one dollar per minute in order to get to know me and try the experience, at the beginning I started with family and friends and obviously, I was practicing my skills.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Well, you know I like to help and I am very spiritual and I believe this kind of energy goes along with the message when I do massage, I just don’t do the massage I make sure the person release the tension not only physical but emotional. Remember, I’m a Mobile massage therapist I go to people house sometimes they come with this histories that I have to leasing to and try to give them some opinions more than advice and they appreciate it.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
All I can say is massage is not only a luxury or lifestyle but necessity for your body to make you feel good and look good.
