Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Arboleda.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was known as your typical Miami Party girl, turned to super mom/dad in 2014. Life quickly changed when I had my son, Nemo. I had gone from going to nightclubs to now hanging out at playgrounds. I believe that things happen for a reason, and I was meant to have him because he gave me new purpose in life. I love and cherish every moment of it. Motherhood is the most rewarding but still the most challenging job I had ever have because it comes with bumps and bruises, especially as a single parent. As I stepped into this new role, I had to learn who I was before and who I am now. I knew I didn’t want to completely lose myself to motherhood because I still feel like the same girl that still aspires to fulfill career goals, care about the way she looks, and most definitely still try to have somewhat of a social life. I knew that I had to completely adjust my priorities, schedules, and relationships.
As moms, we need to remember to find that balance between being a mother and being yourself as an individual, and I did. Living in Miami my whole life, all I knew were all the best parties and nightclubs to go to. I was completely clueless when it came to know of any kid-friendly spots in South Florida. As I explored my city, I came to find out there were many great activities in Miami, especially for kid friendly activities. My blog, I AM HERAFTER is my life after having a baby. I created it for three reasons; One, I had gone back to school and graduated with an MBA in Marketing. I wanted to use my blog as my portfolio to practice all things Digital Marketing. Which led me to opening my own Digital Marketing company called Social Beach Marketing. We help small businesses and entrepreneurs build a digital presence online.Two, I wanted to remind moms that even though our lives will never be the same, we are still capable of having career goals and a social life because moms can have fun too! And three, my city is pretty amazing, and there are so many things to do here. I want to be your personal tour guide and show you all the enjoyable events you could do in South Florida, whether you are going out with your kids, hanging out with your girls, or going on a date night. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Working, blogging, and being a full-time mom hasn’t been a smooth road at all. The one thing that has and still is a constant struggle is my time management. Trying to juggle it all sometimes feels impossible. It’s taken me time to finally learn to structure my days out. A planner has become so useful because it helps organize myself and use my time wisely. Whether it’s time for my business, blog, family time, or self-care time. I make sure to block that time for each task that I need to get done. Be sure to set those priorities!

At the moment, I have two work passions which are my blog I am Herafter and my newly founded company Social Beach Marketing. My blog I am Herafter is where I share all the fun DIY activities to do with your kids at home or events around South Florida that are kid-friendly. Now kids aren’t the only ones that should be having fun, I believe moms should too! I enjoy recommending great places to go out with your friends, co-workers, or for date nights. South Florida has some many great gems to check out and I’m here to guide you to all the best spots. My new business, Social Beach Marketing is a Digital Marketing company that helps small businesses and entrepreneurs build a digital presence online. When the pandemic hit about two years ago and we were forced to stay home, it caused most of those small businesses to close. With internet usage increasing, these businesses had to start thinking of other ways to survive and implement a digital presence in their business models. Investing in digital marketing is a no-brainer because you now have access to a wider audience and is less expensive than traditional marketing. With my master’s degree and experience in Digital Marketing, I can help create fresh, innovative, and powerful marketing strategies to develop brand awareness and create new leads for your business. I am proud of both my blog and business because I genuinely and authentically love what I do.
What does success mean to you?
We’re taught that success is measured based on your salary and job title. A benchmark that I had been following for years and still do when it comes to my work. However, the day I become a mother my definition of what true success was changed for me. Success can’t be one dimensional because there are multiple forms. Overcoming my fear, following my passion in starting “Iam HerAfter, and pursuing my dream of opening my own Digital Marketing company is what success is to me. As a mother, that means that my families’ success are my own. Which in turn, contributes to my overall happiness and mental health. I believe that success should give you a sense of fulfillment because you should live your life how you truly want and deserve to.
