Today we’d like to introduce you to Diane Bender.
Hi Diane, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started Sincerely Yours, Diane with my Mom, Marcia Sheena, out of my parent’s home in 1980.
We moved our family to Boca Raton in 1987 where I started doing the stationery business out of my home. In 2000 I was asked by Dalsimer Atlas Floral Design to rent space from them and that is where I have been located for the last 21 years.
That was the beginning of working with the awesome owners of Dalsimer Atlas Floral Design, the amazing venues in South Florida and so many oh-so creative event planners.
I am so grateful to be in a business filled with “happy”!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My life in the invitation business has been such a wonderful experience. The brides are so happy and eager to create an invitation designed especially for them.
The only bump in the road was in March 2020 when everything stopped because of covid. I was just shocked. I really didn’t think there would ever be a time where there wouldn’t be weddings.
But now things have really come back. I’m working with more brides than I ever have before.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have a background in art and psychology and I use those skills every day.
I can make an invitation as custom as the bride would like…. Wax seals, twine, vellum or shipped or hand-delivered in a box.

What matters most to you?
I really want my brides to be happy. This is one of the most important days in their lives and it should be their vision.
