Meet Natalia Radziuk

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalia Radziuk. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Natalia Radziuk is a 10-time, #1 top-rated radio broadcast journalist and has produced over 100 nationally syndicated programs in the EDM and Rock radio sectors originating from Los Angeles, Chicago, and South Florida. She is known as one of South Florida’s most popular DJs and hosts for over 20 years under her moniker of “Naughty Natalia”.

Before her radio career took off in South Florida with stations like Party 93.1FM, 93 Rock FM, Power 96 FM, 93.5 The Bar, and as the Morning Show host on Revolution 93.5 FM, she made a name for herself with the “glow stick” set in the early 90’s by being a singer and releasing several #1 hits. This led her to join an international tour, but more importantly, it quickly led her to landing a spot on the “first known” dance radio station in the country. Additionally, that success led her to helping to revolutionize the Morning Show circuit with a show called “Beauty vs. The Beast” with The Poorman on Groove Radio 103.1 in Los Angeles.

She has won numerous awards within the broadcast industry, has been the host for the Winter Music Conference, “International Dance Music Awards” for over 15 years, was awarded “E” Entertainment’s “Sexiest Jobs in South Florida” award, received a “Proclamation Certificate” from then Mayor of Miami-Beach, the honorable Alex Panelas with the “Women in Leadership Award” by the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, has been featured in a book about her life written by Catalina Magazine Editor, Cathy Areyu called “Latino Wisdom”, she has consulted and even wrote or voiced several nationally run marketing campaigns from Coca Cola, Sailor Jerry, Dunkin Donuts, Wendy’s, Toyota, Volvo, and more for Beasley Broadcasting, Cox Media, Emmis Broadcasting, iHeartMedia, CBS, FOX and MTV and MTV2 networks. In her broadcast run, her endorsements alone, within a five years period, held well over $5 million dollars in advertising during her shows, making her the most sought after and highest-paid radio personality in her timeslot in South Florida. It was unheard of to hold the #1 mid-day time slot six years straight, over Morning or Afternoon Drive times.

Before she even joined Party 93.1fm in South Florida, she was the marketing director and consultant for the first two Ultra “Beach” Music Festivals which is now known as the “Ultra Music Festival’.

In early 2022, a documentary is set to be released on Hulu and other known networks about her life called “All about the 90’s”. Her book, “Levels” is in the final stages of development and will also be released in late 2022 and already has a book/speaking tour in the works.

With two decades of success on and off the stage within her industry, she plans to use her experience to create programming that is insightful, impactful and meaningful by providing content that is one of a kind within the EDM industry through her new podcast media company called HIGHER SPIRIT MEDIA INC. “MasterMind of a DJ” podcast is the first vertical of the six different podcasts she is developing.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Making the decision to leave the Entertainment Capital of the World, Hollywood, CA and leaving my terminally ill mother to take on a more corporate role in the music industry as a Marketing Director for a record label in Chicago, IL. I was 25 at the time and I knew that after being on tour, that it was time to really sink my teeth in and help other artists achieve success the way I had by helping them.

After moving to South Florida, I did not think I would get back into radio and did, by working at the first dance radio station on the East Coast called Party 93.1fm.

When the station flipped formats after being on air for 3 1/2 years, they practically fired everyone and kept me on board to be the first voice of their new format called 93 Rock. So, I went from working in Dance Music to Rock within where I lost over $75k in live broadcasts and remote appearances due to the format flip as advertisers where taken by surprise.

I had to not only reinvent myself as a personality but I had to take on all of the ridicule and criticisms from our old radio station fans calling me a sell-out and take on all the ridicule and criticisms and try to win the love of the new fan base I was trying obtain in the rock music scene, where people said, “I was just a club girl with big tits pretending to like rock music.”

I’ve had other “reinvention” moments similar to these throughout my journey working in the music business and it was tough, but with each obstacle, I learned a new lesson on how to be brave by evolving and folding if and when they come.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I recently opened up a new podcast media company called “Higher Spirit Media Inc.”.

I’ve incorporated the 20+ years I’ve had in the broadcasting industry into what I feel now serves a purpose on many levels with shows that are fun and filled with content that would attract listeners from all demographics.

I feel that creating this company will open up a lot of doors to future hosts I plan to mentor and help develop so they too can reach success without jumping through tons of hoops. This is a company created on my terms, without all of the red tape major broadcasting networks bring, making it difficult for people in our industry to succeed.

I just released a new podcast on my network called “MasterMind of a DJ Podcast”.

MasterMind of a DJ Podcast delivers a weekly 40 minute podcast where we interview some of the most successful DJ’s, remixers, producers, managers, club owners, promoters, record labels and other key industry leaders about their own inspirations and influences that have shaped their careers. Additionally, we hear from each of them on the impacts they have had on their audiences as well as the impact they hope to have by sharing their experiences on the podcast.

We cover topics that aren’t necessarily discussed in the EDM nightclub environment. We get down to the core of who these successful creatives were when they began their careers, who they’ve become within their brand, and how they continue to remain successful in today’s ever-changing entertainment arena.

Most of my listeners know me as “Naughty Natalia”! I tell people the best way to find me is on Google, where you’ll see, I’m not a porn star, nor, am I a racing horse by the name of Naughty Natalia too!….what you’ll find is me, “Naughty Natalia”, as the boring South Florida Radio Personality…

I am proud of many of my accomplishments by obtaining the “Women of Leadership Award” from the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce” and I am a 2x Olympic Certified Triathlete!

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
