Hi Chantal, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my business out of the love for good quality hair extensions (so hard to come by), hair care & beauty products. Everywhere I went people kept asking about my hair color & hair extensions, so I thought to myself, why not provide these things.
After three years of market research & product sourcing, I knew exactly how to proceed when I started. I got a shocker, It wasn’t as easy as I thought, but now it is so worth it.
I began my entrepreneur journey with a logo and a hair growth oil formulated on the dining table. I got so much support from connections I made on Facebook, plus I wrote an ebook on some of the stuff I learnt in my research which was an added advantage.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The shockers had me asking why did I do this to myself, lol. Sleepless nights & extremely early mornings, researching & researching.
Finding quality products was not an easy task, sometimes overseas suppliers would pull tricks on me even after confirming specific details.
I lost lots of money on product testing.

I am a Business Mentor, Marketer and the Formulator for our handmade hair & beauty products.
I am known for providing Raw Hair Extensions that doesn’t tangle & an Edge Slay Pomade that is a joy for all hair types but especially for 4c hair.
Also for assisting business owners on their journey through business coaching, product sourcing and product development.
I am extremely proud of how I grew my business with no influencers, no paid reviews, only great strategies.
My hard work prompted Facebook Business to reach out to me for collaboration (still in the works).
I am a wholesaler to other small businesses locally & internationally, my team offers private label as an option for our customers.
What I love is the way I positioned my brand from the start, it is not “ANOTHER HAIR & BEAUTY BRAND”.
It boasts exceptional quality, each product does what it should & then some.
What’s next?
We plan to have every product boxed & sitting pretty on the shelves of major retail companies.
We will also be expanding our beauty line by adding products that speaks to every woman caring for her beautiful face.
