Hi Linda, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Fruits of Motherhood in an attempt to find moms who felt the same way as me, that motherhood was hard and it felt like no one was talking about it.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No success ever is, when I first started I found out my name at the time (mom gang) was trademarked so I had to come up with a new name. I was worried it was going to change my relationship with my audience but thankfully it didn’t. Creating daily content can be a challenge at some times, but I welcome it.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have a blog, all the social media, podcast, shop and I’m always expanding to find other ways to create content and reach moms who need a little virtual hug. Motherhood is hard and laughing about it doesn’t fix it, but it helps. My mission is to normalize motherhood and ultimately what it means to be a women in today’s modern age.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I’m a huge risk taker. I came out to all my followers on the internet at the same time as my family. It was overly positive and I’m so thankful I took a leap. You can’t learn if you don’t take risks.
