Today we’d like to introduce you to Diego Veloz.
Hi Diego, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My passion for car audio systems began when I was a kid in Venezuela. My father was working with audio systems at parties, then we decided to start a small business installing sound car systems. We were growing and learning about the business together. Our business grew and eventually we were able to open a second store in Venezuela.
In 2017, Venezuela was in a political crisis so I decided to move to America. I moved to Boston and worked a landscaping job. My goal was to save enough money to eventually move to Miami and continue working on my dream to open a car audio shop in America. I opened the first Veloz Audio Miami in September 2019. Now we have a Veloz Audio team working hard and offering the best service for all our customers.
We just opened our second store in Miami where we have more services and exclusive products with the best brands.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been easy and there have been many struggles along the way. When I came to America, I tried to work in different car audio stores but it was difficult to find anyone who would trust a new employee. After some time, I decided to begin working for myself and showing my work around Miami. It was a long road and a lot of hard work, but God, my wife who is my complement, and my family always supported me and in the end, it all was all worth it. Consistency, dedication and effort is everything.

My team specializes in custom car audio system installations, custom boxes, accessories, window tinting, and wraps. With more than 20 years of experience, we offer a personalized service with the best brands and expert technicians. The needs of our customers always come first and every detail is completed in accordance with their wishes. I’m most proud of the unique style that we offer and the excitement I see in the customer’s face when they get their vehicle back and see the work we have done.
