Hi The SG’s Nail Box of Miami, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
So the SG’s Nail Box of Miami Nail & Glam Studio is owned & operated by mother & daughter duo Toni & Brittany (Pashun) George.
The Nail Box was brought into fruition due to our frustrations brought on by another nail salon that we both worked for & we just didn’t agree with their business ethics.
With very few resources, the opportunity to start our own nail salon business presented itself & we hopped on it!
We have been in the beauty industry for a combined total of over 30 years & have seen many situations that gave us the desire to make a huge positive impact within the industry & beyond.
Our mission at the Nail Box is to produce competitive works of art…practice optimal customer service & create a hospitable yet laid back environment in which all guests that walk through our doors would never want to leave.
In other words, come in grab your complimentary glass of wine, kick back take a deep breath & inhale the vapes of our complimentary hookah & lay your worries down at the door.
WE ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN A NAIL SALON…WE’RE KINDA LIKE AN URBAN SABATICAL!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to building a clientele & brand so far has been very challenging, with it being just the two of us & we are not Miami natives so that in itself makes curating a business & building a brand locally, being from another state very challenging. We have to wear all the hats in running this business because it’s very challenging finding the right fit for our brand.
We’ve noticed that Miami is the type of town that supports its own, but we have to admit that the love from the city & our
“Box Babes” has been unreal & we’ve only been open for a year and a half!

Our claim to fame is our nail acrylic sets lasting for up to two months.
Our eyebrow artistry is unmatched
And our facials are to die for!!
Our company is most proud of our humbly yet beautifully appointed studio space. The place is so girly cute with a lounge type vibe & the best part is that the space was created using “ALL” recycled furnishings & accents…EVERYTHING & it’s simply breathtakingly beautiful!
Our fair & unmatched customer service policy is what sets us apart from other business brands.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
We love the energy of the city & we love that Miami supports its own.
We’ve lived here for 11 years now…can we be considered your own” now Miami…lol??
Our least favorite thing about Miami is all of the growing crime & the unruly tourists.
