Life & Work with Giovanni Serna

Today we’d like to introduce you to Giovanni Serna.

Hi Giovanni, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Photography is something that always caught my interest. I started testing out the waters in Afghanistan while overseas. I let it go for a few years and then was presented with a job opportunity in the real estate market as a photographer/videographer three years ago. From there, my love and talent have grown and we are now expanding into other markets, such as promotional and marketing videos for all kinds of businesses.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Fortunately the road to my photography career has been pretty smooth, a few mistakes bumps along the way to learn from, but I take things as they come and day by day. My upbringing and previous experiences and challenges have helped me come to be who I am today.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am mostly known for and proud of my attention to detail and surpassing my client’s expectations. I am a firm believer that you don’t take a shot, you create one, and that is my goal every time. Aerial shots with my drone is my specialty. I operate the drones with such ease, allowing me to capture perfect images.

What makes you happy?
My children and wife are my number one happiness and supporters. I have been blessed with people who love and accept me for who I am and push me to be better every day.
