Today we’d like to introduce you to Flavia Fogli.
Hi Flavia, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
The first time I came to Miami was in 2008; I came with my son, nine years old, and we fell immediately in love with the city. At that time, I worked in a travel agency in Italy, and many of my clients had properties in Miami. With one of them, I started to speak about the possibility of moving to the United States.
On August 19th, 2011, we moved to Miami.
I started my business in December 2011; it was not simple or easy to arrive at where I am today. It was challenging: my property management company is a full-service company (as you can see on my website). I like to call myself a PROBLEM-SOLVER!
I have always followed my dreams, and I encourage everybody to follow their dreams! NEVER GIVE UP!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
My initial project, the reason I moved to Miami, didn’t start in the way I hoped it would be, and I found myself running around buildings looking for the right inspiration to define my new job. I had to put my son to school without him speaking English; I was passing my days dreaming and seeing my self-living in Miami and working here, creating my own business, but I needed action: I went to school in the evening I got my CAM license. It took me two years to have my first job in the property management field and even more to be considered and respected by clients and vendors.
Now I have a great team of people I work with!

I love my job, and I do it with passion. I practice yoga and meditation, and I love simple and real things: a good conversation, good food, the sunset. I have a healthy and simple life. I like to learn and challenge myself every day. I wake up happy, wondering what the new day will bring! Living here for me is like Paradise, and I’m very thankful for this country’s opportunity.
