Hi Mallory, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
How many of you somehow found your true passion during these unusual and trying times? Believe it or not, that is how Paige was born. During quarantine, when all things were uncertain, there was one thing that was, my vision for creating a curated accessories collection. I finally decided to rip the bandaid off when I tested positive for COVID-19. During this time, I became very anxious and nervous, having to deal with a virus that still is unknown. I knew I needed to keep myself distracted, so I chose to wake up each day with a goal that would keep me positive and keep me going through these days of major quarantining. I wanted to create a line with good quality accessories and even better pricing. I launched Paige strictly on Instagram where I was able to connect firsthand with a variety of individuals and their styles.
It’s funny, Paige first began with photos taken from my I-phone! In no time, I gained relationships with individuals from all over South Florida and even outside of Florida. That’s when I knew it was time to take Paige to the next level. I brought on my next challenge, creating an entire website from scratch on my own. Oh, and I was finally able to purchase a good quality camera! This website was the perfect way to connect with a wider audience and make purchasing easier because at the end of the day, we all need a little retail therapy during these times. I wanted to create a site that had a little something for everybody. Whether you are into statement pieces or minimal accents, Paige was made to accommodate every individual’s style and budget. Although staying home did not require much dressing up, something about adding a piece of jewelry just made pajamas feel like I was ready for that next Zoom meeting. I believe simplicity with a touch of a statement piece can create the ultimate wardrobe. It has now become a great passion of mine, and I am excited to explore the endless possibilities my new pride and joy can bring me! My mission is to help our customers feel confident and beautiful all while exceeding expectations in quality, value, and service.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I don’t think starting a business is ever smooth sailing, especially during a pandemic. It has been fun yet challenging to find new ways to draw engagement strictly through our new virtual reality. Even something as simple as receiving inventory can also become stressful due to the delays in shipping. However, I am lucky enough to have my best friend, boyfriend and family members who have supported me and helped me with whatever I have needed. As much as you may know about your industry, there is always more to learn and understand. It is important to constantly remain open to advice and constructive criticism. I thank all my clients and loved ones who have remained loyal since I began my journey. You guys have made it easier for me!

Paige is a curated accessories line with a special touch for every individual and style. We have everything from statement pieces to hair accessories and handbags. I just love the idea of wearing a simple outfit and adding accessories to make your look pop. I am most proud of the relationships I have created with my customers. I love to connect with them through direct message on Instagram and even through text message. I think that’s what sets me apart from others. I have created friendships with my customers, where they feel confident enough to keep returning and trusting in Paige. I love to help them pick out accessories for their social distance dinners and then later hear about how it went! It is important to me to have that foundation with my customers because, without them, Paige wouldn’t continuously be growing.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory is my 11th birthday in New York City. It was mid-December and snowing! As you can imagine, New York City is a dream during that time. My mom took us all around the city, and we visited beautiful stores and shopped. I think this is where I picked up my love for fashion and accessories. Since then, I knew I wanted to have a line of my own.
