Today we’d like to introduce you to Taneisha Graham.
Taneisha, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
So my story is what I’d consider a walk with God. As a small child, I was raised in a two-parent household until the age of six. Up until that age, my siblings and I were placed in foster care multiple times due to my parents being in a domestic violence relationship. Those events eventually led to my grandmother adopting us, giving each of my siblings and me an opportunity to excel. Although my grandmother didn’t have a lot, she still her best. After seeing and experiencing what it feels like to be extremely less fortunate and parent-less, I vowed to build something, not only for myself for my future and current family. I am a First-Generation college student and business owner, all at the age of 19.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
At a young age, I learned that nothing you want will ever come from a smooth road. I’ve learned to be patient and consistent with life and my endeavors because that’s what the journey is about—trusting that what’s for you will be that. However, doe struggles along the way have to be growing up quickly. Again, I had my grandmother, but she couldn’t teach me how to be a college student or business owner because she has never done it. I had to fail a few classes, go broke, take care of myself and much more to even start up BrightSmiles Galore as well as find the time to juggle college.

BrightSmiles Galore, a limited liability teeth whitening company founded by Taneisha Graham. The art of teeth whitening is to strip away years of staining and yellowing of the teeth in less than two hours of a client’s time. I found this venture one-day scrolling through Twitter after seeing this young lady purchase a Tesla. I had asked God to send me something new and out of the norm for my city, and he delivered. As a business, I am most proud of the growth and what I have done for my clients. Each client leaves my chair with an immense amount of confidence and gratitude that they’ve been seeking for years as far as what sets me apart, my genuine nature and aura. I practice love and gratitude with everything I do and my clients feel that and choose me. Caring about people is all some people ask for but isn’t 100% fulfilled. At BrightSmiles Galore, it is.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
In the near future, I plan to own my own shop to help employ other college students. Especially the first gens. Working in college is hard, and I want my workspace to be fun while elevating fiscal stress. Furthermore, I want to dominate the grillz industry to also employ felons like my brother. But in a closer range, building clientele and connecting with people is my greatest goal.
