Meet Cloudya Esther of Ameriworld Fulfillment in Doral East

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cloudya Esther.

Ameriworld started in 2003 supporting foreign companies looking to expand to the US by offering them to administer their US subsidiary, host their sales staff in our corporate offices and stuck their products in our warehouse. This back office + logistics + business center came really handy for international companies that preferred to invest their capital in marketing and sales activities instead of in infrastructure.

Thanks to working with most retailers through our client’s accounts, invoicing their clients, collecting their payments, serving their orders and processing their returns, we became experts at dealing with big box retailers.

With the advent of the e-commerce business, many local companies knowing of our experience drop shipping to major retailers, starting requesting that we fulfill their online orders and per market demand, we started to offer fulfillment services.

Adding this service wasn’t a stretch for Ameriworld as we count with our in-house IT department who is responsible of creating our proprietary WMS (warehouse management system) and takes care of all integrations with shopping carts. Accuracy of inventory and orders are the two most important principles by which we measure our success.

Today, Ameriworld serves thousands of orders daily from a variety of industries such as cosmetics, apparel, footwear, houseware, dietary supplements, hardware, toys, electronics and jewelry, among others.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Like in any business, there are up and downs. At Ameriworld we went through a revamping of our brand a couple of years ago to be more in tune with our digital clients. With a new website, logo and presentation, Ameriworld was able to raise its profile and come a known brand in the e-commerce fulfillment world.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Ameriworld is a boutique-type-of-company. We are not your typical 3PL that would take any client that knocks on its door. We know our strengths and weaknesses, and we know what kind of client we are best suited for.

For this reason, we stick to those who we can make an impact on their operation. The more logistics problems that they come with (such as high number of retailers chargebacks, accounts suspended or exponential growth in volume) the better we can serve them as we are equipped to handle complex operations.

What were you like growing up?
I’ve always been a curious person and interesting enough, I was in trade since I was a kid. Back in Uruguay, when I was about 8-9 years old, I convinced my cousin to help me to craft some pencil holders with coca-cola cans and some other decoration pieces and to put up a table in front of our houses and try to sell them to the passers by. Our stand was a success and that become a tradition we continued until puberty hit and our interests shifted.
