Today we’d like to introduce you to Sebastian Collazos.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
It all started when I was in the backroom of Aldo. One of my friends was explaining how he had a clothing brand and I was like “wow, I need to have one of those.” So, whenever I had a little free time, I would do some research into how to start my own clothing brand and then Princefattie was born. The name, Princefattie, comes from this cartoon character I used to draw back in middle school. He’s funny, a bit of a spaz, and does whatever he wants. He’s the guy everyone wants to be friends with, and now he lives through every piece of clothing I create.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I’ve been lucky enough to have had a smooth road so far. I have a really strong support system and some great friends who see me through my hard times.
Princefattie – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Princefattie was created out of my love of fashion and food. My brand is based around the concept of food and I often create funny content with that element in mind. We are known for making these funny videos to launch each new release or design. They are always so fun to make, especially when I film them with friends.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I would define my success by having a loyal fan base and support every decision you make. A lot of things have worked out for me over the years. Although, I will say it’s mostly because I believe that when you do what you love, you’ll always come out on top.
