Meet Arielle Claudine Baril of Rielli in Fort Lauderdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Arielle Claudine Baril.

Arielle, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started making swimwear about one year ago with my grandmother. I did not have much to start with and I decided to get my very own machine after a few months. After practicing, I knew I was ready to launch a small brand. This small brand turned into my second job and I’ve been doing this since I started.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Not the smoothest road but definitely fun! I have made many mistakes in overspending and logistics. I have to recover and pay for those mistakes.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Rielli – what should we know?
I make swimwear. We are known to be an ethical swimwear brand in Miami- everything is made to order and we do not overproduce, we only produce when we have a sale. Our motto is “Riel is Rare” and “Keep it Rielli” we emphasize the realness in a woman and the raw imperfections that is beautiful to us. I am most proud of the message I have created to be spread around. We are different from other swim brands because everything is made in-house.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My parents helped me so much in founding the company. My grandmother helped me in sewing and my sister helps me in strategizing my brand.
