After retiring, at 30, from a successful career in Sales and Management for Fortune 500 Companies, Brenda decided to pursue her own Business career.

She owned several businesses, such as Travel & Tours, Clothing Boutiques, Baka Beautiful(tm) Hair Salon, which was Philly’s 1st and most successful Natural Hair Braiding Salon. and finally Baka Beautiful(tm) Natural Hair and Skin Care Products.

After extensive worldwide travel, becoming multi-lingual and learning from native herbalists, she introduced the 1st 100% Natural Hair Spa System, Natural-Laxer(tm), which was used in her Salons and distributed in the Northeast corridor.

In 2003, they relocated to West Palm Beach and Baka Beautiful Natural Hair Care Products was created to manage and control hair and skin without chemicals, to alleviate chemically damaged hair problems, thinning, balding and most of all to lift the self-esteem of so many people regarding their hair appearance. In 2004 Natural-Laxer(tm) improved to become Natural-Laxer(tm) “Mix”, which uniquely manages both hair and skin, all-in-one. Then, Natural-Colors covers Gray was introduced to Naturally Color gray and non-Gray hair alike. Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Tried many businesses, some good and others not so good. Just had to know when to move on. The biggest challenge is to find something you really love.

When I found it, My struggle was to hang in there until the marketplace changed to focus on “Natural”, “Organic” Hair and Skin Care Products. I was already there, doing shows, re-educating, and struggling until, one day, out of nowhere, everyone is suddenly interested in Natural Hair and Skin Care products.
