Meet Gabrielle Amritt

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabrielle Amritt.

Gabrielle, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Hi! My name is Gabrielle Amritt and I’ve been on my modeling/acting journey for a few years now. I started out by first doing my research on what it was I exactly wanted to do, which was my senior year of high school. I then made my way to Instagram and decided to use this tool to my advantage. I reached out to a couple of local photographers and from the moment my shoots started to appear throughout Instagram, that eventually attracted an audience.

From there, I started working with more photographers and local brands in the South Florida area. I built that relationship with these other beings who were also on their own journey of success. We have all helped each other out and have definitely always left each other inspired by our passions which is why I hold the 305/954 community so near & dear to my heart. So, where I’m at now wouldn’t be possible without the constant grind and networking. I ended up getting casted for a Glossier campaign through Instagram which was pretty frickin dope and from the moment that campaign dropped, I ended up getting scouted by Jared (shoutout to you such a lovely agent) from my agency in New York which is Unite Unite. I still have ways to go on my journey and I’m so grateful to have such amazing agents at Unite Unite who have been pushing me!

Has it been a smooth road?
Definitely hasn’t been a smooth road especially since I wasn’t the ideal model at the time I began my journey. The amount of “no’s” and rejection I took was insane but this skin is tough and that’s how it has to be in this industry. The thing you have to remember throughout all these “obstacles” is that they won’t matter to the success you have ahead of you. I put air quotes because I’m honestly grateful for those obstacles because it builds you as a person.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I model, I act, and I create content for brands. I always love having complete freedom when creating content or when brands know my aesthetic, so they just allow me to go full out because they trust my vision already. I just pride myself on being myself. That’s literally the best thing anyone of us could be just our purest forms.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the culture in my city and I love the support in the creative community. It’s always love in the creative community and like I said before this why I hold the 305? 954 community so near & dear to my heart.
