Today we’d like to introduce you to Brielle Mayberg Halbert.
Brielle, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I grew up in an entrepreneurial family in DC, our capital notorious for power and influence. My family’s inner circle consists of ambitious Washingtonians who also became my personal role models; they are true movers and shakers, creating impressive imprints of betterment on our society.
My upbringing was multifaceted. While I traveled and had great exposure to the world and different types of people, I grew up in the-good-kind-of-sheltering home that modeled dressing well yet conservatively, with a strong emphasis on inner and natural beauty..
In parallel, I loved NYC and Broadway from an early age, became a fitness instructor in my late teens and was exposed to a liberal NYU campus. I met our society head-on and came to terms that it modeled certain values of the opposite extreme than the ones I had grown up with, including my growing Miami exposure, which celebrates swimsuit season and skin. It became a love-hate where I wanted to dress in a dignified and modest fashion, maintaining the values of which I grew up with, while at the same time keeping up to speed with mainstream trending fashion.
Simultaneous to the increasing boom of the Athleisure trend, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to work on bringing something new to the table. I wanted to pioneer a new category in fashion that encompassed a novel combination of trends – clothing that would celebrate the self, but not at the expense of self-dignity, and unlock inner power to accomplish higher goals within the framework of dressing right, all day long.
No more leggings to meetings. Not gonna fly for the powerhouse ladies I know.
I teamed up with an Italian born fashion entrepreneur and embarked on a journey in the activewear space that is simulating haute couture: high fashion made with incredible luxrious and versatile smart fabrics sourced from around the world. The aim of the line is to provide the most comfort and versatility to fit the needs of those who lead truly ambitious and admirable lifestyles, combined with sophisticated fashion in a way that is unique to the market.

Has it been a smooth road?
My approach is finding the best people to work with (both in talent and spirit), even if at the expense of moving quickly. I have found that bringing in the right people who share in the vision, is the magical ingredient that moves us forward and makes the road feel super smooth despite challenges.
