Des, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Honestly, the name dozen of pressure was suppose to be a brand where I go from states and cities doing cyphers you know? Like artist cyphers and I was gonna go from city to city finding 12 hot underground artist and do 2 cyphers 6 artist on each set ya know? That’s really where dozen of pressure the name comes from. But when I started doing cyphers, I got more feedback then expected honestly lol.. So I sat down and rethought everything, so I transformed into a management company and the whole goal is to have 12 artists under my company so hence the name Dozen of Pressure. A lot in store for the brand though stay in watch.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Honestly, it hasn’t been a smooth road, but you gotta think positive, you know? If you really see and have faith in your dream, I think all the stress and bumps in the road is worth it all.
Dozen Of Pressure – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My business name is dozen of pressure it’s an independent based artist management company starting out of Orlando, Florida, my goal is to have 12 artists under the company. That’s where the name dozen of pressure comes in at. We manage artist, we do events, we sell merch. But at the moment I would say they mostly know my brand for doing cyphers but that will change soon! I’m honestly proud of turning just thought I was sitting in bed a reality and have the world gravitate to it! I’m not at the top yet, but slowly!! What separates us we don’t work with an artist that’s already on other folks preach that, but they don’t mean it shout-out to P, Shawn cotton.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success has different terms for everyone, but I would define it as is when you plan a goal or anything you would look at achieving and you accomplish that, but it’s many meanings behind that sentence.
