Meet Andy Gaertner of Bliss Dental in Kendall (near Coral Gables & South Miami)

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andy Gaertner.

Andy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Dr. Andy Gaertner was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium. Having a father as one of the leading dentists of his country, he was exposed to high quality dental care from a very early age. This played a major role in the development of his personal passion and knowledge in dentistry.

After high school graduation he went to attend Nova Southeastern University in Florida where he completed his Bachelors of Science in Biology, followed by his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) degree. Dr. Gaertner started practicing dentistry in the Southeast Florida area, followed by three years in his home country. He is now expanding his expertise as a Cosmetic and Family General Dentist in Miami.

The drive to guarantee the highest quality of care and to constantly grow is the force behind the attendance of multiple national and international continuing education courses and local study clubs. Dr. Gaertner is fluent in English, French, Hebrew, Dutch and intermediate in Spanish. which allows him to communicate and optimize care for patients from all around the world.

Dr. Gaertner also believes in complete health and balances his time with outdoor activities, proper diet and continuous exercise. He enjoys the diverse musical vibe and cultural art that South Florida has to offer.

Patient satisfaction, comfort, cosmetic excellence, and quality of care are Dr. Gaertner’s main priorities. He believes all patients should be treated like family. Dr. Gaertner has a way of making patients, even the most apprehensive ones, feel at ease and you will see how comfortable you will feel putting your dental health in his hands.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road has been long, with many years of studying and improving skills. The journey has been nothing but rewarding filled with many unforgettable experiences. This long and smooth road has shaped Dr. Gaertner’s personalized way of treating each and every single one of his patients just like they deserve to be treated.
