Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex Marz.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’m a Miami native with over 15 years of experience as a professional Industrial Designer and Artist. I’ve always been inspired from seeing my father work as an Architect and Artist. My earliest memories were simply trying to copy whatever he was creating (unsuccessfully haha). Definitely got my work-ethic from him.
With a laser-focus on wanting to become a master of art and design, I moved to NYC at the age of 18 to attend the prestigious university, Pratt Institute. Wanting to be closer to the automotive industry, I set my sights on moving to Los Angeles; where most Car companies have their Advanced Car Design studios (Research, Design, Engineering)
I was accepted to the prestigious ArtCenter College of design and after five years, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Transportation Design. I was quickly scooped up by Porsche Group Design Center California (Audi division) where I worked alongside some of the most passionate, intelligent and forward-thinking individuals.
After spending some time at Porsche Group – Audi, I was recruited by the largest Advertising/Tech company in the world, Publicis. Sapient where I was a Creative Lead for FIAT, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ferrari (FCA Brands) and helped shape the creative direction for their visual content, websites, Apps, User Journeys and Client Presentations.
When meeting new people, they would ask me where can they go see/buy my art. After many requests over the years, I decided to create Marz.ink, a premium marketplace for Auto Art created by a professional Automotive Designer and Artist. I am inspired by many things… traveling, observing people and usually try to incorporate portraits in my art pieces. Check out my IG:@marz.ink to see the latest masterpiece!!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The life of a creative professional (Visual Arts, performers, musicians, singers, dancers, etc.) is not an easy one. But it is very fulfilling to create something with your heart and mind…from scratch!
I highly recommend everyone give the Arts a try as a hobby… you never know, might find your passion and want to figure out how to make a business from it.

Marz ink is a premium Art marketplace for Auto aficionados! I’m the Artist and founder. I specialize in creating premium, unique art that you would never be able to find anywhere else in the world.
My artistic style: known for my precise calligraphic lines and surrealist painting style. Excited about a successful exposition at one of the best car dealerships in the country, The Collection (located in Coral Gables)
What sets me apart from others is the way I transmit my brand from my artwork to my website… It’s an auto culture brand, a lifestyle for car lovers.
