Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryahn.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Ryahn. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I loved music and singing and performing since I was a little girl. My parents influenced me a lot in that way they always played great music around me. I always loved the element of fun and feelings of ecstasy that music can add to life. I can only remember hearing songs in Car rides and watching music videos back then and being soo intrigued by the art of creating sound and performance. I always loved to sing but I didn’t start making my own original music until I started playing the guitar at 13. From there, my music has had soo many evolutions but I find so much meaning in what I do and since finding that happiness, I’ve only wanted to find ways to expand my reach so that I can share the music that saved me with the whole world one day.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It definitely has been anything but a smooth road, I went through soo many obstacles to be where I am musically now and in my life, in general. Aside from hardships, any budding artist is going to go through, I struggled a lot not having much financial help after losing my dad to cancer at 16 and it was a very traumatic situation for me, but I feel that it made me stronger and I learned a lot from that time period even though I miss him every day.
Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I think that my passion for what I do that sets me apart from a lot of things now that are very lukewarm. I need anything to be hot and undying wethers it’s my love or hatred for the matter, It usually runs very deep and Im very stubborn in the things that I know I want sometimes and I think you can hear that in a lot of my music. I also like to be very honest in my work and incorporate situations from my life. There are also other times that I feel that I Channel certain things and they really flow out of me with no thought. I see my connection to music as my connection and communication to God.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I a was a crazy-ass kid, super energetic, always playing and moving around, I loved to sing and dance. My parents gave me too much freedom sometimes and I would wear a bunch of crazy patterns and colors and I was loud in that sense, I always wanted attention good or bad, lol, especially being the baby of my family at times, I think I felt like I had to fight to get a word, but I’m still that same exact kid, I just dress way differently, lol.
