Today we’d like to introduce you to Nina Arce.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Nina. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My whole life I have been an artist… after high school, it was my Mom’s idea for me to go to makeup school. So, in 2007, I graduated from Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry and that is where my career began. I have done makeup for a wide range of genres including music videos, fashion shows including New York Fashion Week and Miami Fashion Week, clothing campaigns, TV commercials, weddings, and even some special effects makeup. In 2015, I took my talents to LA where my career grew even more, doing makeup for red carpet events, working with celebrities and beauty brands. After living in LA for four years, I moved back home to Miami where I am currently juggling being a full-time Mom and makeup artist.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road… but the path to your dreams rarely is a smooth one. The most important thing is to keep your eyes on your goals and never give up.

I am a Makeup Artist & Influencer. I have my own company called Nina’s Makeup. Traveling to some amazing places has been a highlight of my career. To be able to see the world while doing what you love is a blessing. Building relationships with my clients is really important to me; I think that is why I maintain my clientele.
Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
My parents always encouraged me to follow my dreams. They always lifted me up with positive affirmations and helped me to believe in myself. The words we speak to our children have an effect on the adults they will become. I am thankful I had parents that supported me in every way.
