Luciano and Pedro, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
OMG is currently 2 years and 5 months in the business with a lot of commitment, dedication and work.
We are the first chocolate Brigadeiro shop in Florida.
The main idea to create OMG Brigadeiros was to introduce a new product & concept (Brigadeiro) into a new culture. Basically, Brigadeiro is a Brazilian chocolate which the base of our chocolates is made with condensed milk, cocoa powder and butter (yummy).
We knew the potential of the Brigadeiro, but with the lack of knowledge of the product we thought about a different way of presenting them to the American public and this idea came out when we launched our specials cappuccinos. The first one was called as the Nutella cappuccino which reached 16 million views on the internet and became kind of viral in Miami.
We were very impressed with the results of that video and definitely was a BIG sign we were on the right track.
Our customers started coming to the store to taste the cappuccinos and always including the Brigadeiro as a combo.
The first reaction of most customers after the bite the Briadeiros were saying ”OH MY GOSH” (so funny). The Brigadeiros are so delicious and then before leaving buying a box to eat at home or as gift for their family or friend.
OMG also offers a comfortable, cozy and pleasant environment for our clients with a unique décor, a special chocolate smell, personalized customer service and a pretty presentation including dishes, packaging (boxes).
We want to show to our customers that OMG can be a great option for coffee breaks and a unique place to give a gift from someone you love.
Nowadays, we offer fifteen flavors of Brigadeiros, coffees, cake jars, milkshakes and soon more delights will be added in our menu and more locations will be opened soon.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely to introduce a completely unknown product into another culture was and still our biggest challenge, but this is a kind of challenge which we love and moves us every day to achieve our goals.

OH MY GOSH! Brigadeiros is the first Brigadeiro boutique in Florida. Our intention is to bring a unique and innovative twist on a traditional Brigadeiro and cappuccinos. We offer a variety of Brigadeiros, coffees, cake jars and very soon new products.
We do cater for any kind of event such as wedding, party, corporate, hotels, birthdays.
We consistently want to meet our customer’s expectations. We hope to give you a great experience for all chocolate lovers and make your life a little bit sweeter.
Luciano Brilho is a young American-Brazilian entrepreneur, born in Rio de Janeiro and passionate about sports. Eventually Luciano noticed that one of his other passions was winning the hearts of Americans, and to do so introduced the brigadeiro.
The most popular sweet in Brazil accompanied him since childhood birthday parties and in grandmother’s house.
After much research and development, the first brigaderia in Florida was inaugurated, OH MY GOSH!!! Brigadeiros. The famous sweet, then also became a professional pursuit.
The passion for the brigadeiro and the daily dedication and care for product quality have made the boutique a great success. And the ideas, innovations and evolution continue.
Other types of sweets containing Brigadeiros are already being studied and soon OH MY GOSH !!! will move to the next step.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Always believe in your ideas, intuitions, what you are doing and of course, with a lot of responsibility.
In my point of view, the first fundamental step for the business was that I was always focused, committed and giving the company my best. Also, experiencing every moment and dedicating myself 24 hours to what I believe is correct and doing the best for our clients.
