So, before we jump into specific questions about what you do, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Abatey was born from my belief in natural healing and my journey of connecting more deeply with my inner energy. My experience with psychoanalysis and studies in deep astrology, Kabbalah, aromatherapy and the energetics of crystals motivated me to pursue certification from the NY Institute of Aromatic studies.
One day, I received a call from a friend who was organizing a bazaar and wanted me to join them with my aromatherapy products. At the time, I didn’t have any products ready to market but she gave me 2 weeks and I was ready for a challenge.
This opportunity opened the door to others. Since then I’ve created more products and established online platforms to reach more customers and allow them to know our products, story, and experiences. I continue to attend bazaars, events, and workshops and hope to expand the business in the coming months. I’m excited to introduce new products and workshops to educate people in aromatherapy.
Has it been a smooth road?
Nothing in life is smooth. It’s all a learning process and that’s what I love about this journey.
I have learned that people are not very informed about the benefits of aromatherapy and educating myself to educate others has been my biggest challenge.
I’ve realized that socia media, although sometimes challenging, is a great way to communicate with my customers. We live in an era where technology matters and reaches so many people. I’ve had to learn how to navigate through this, be diligent in my learning and create a platform that is not only a marketing too but also inspires and educates them in a way that captivates and keeps them interested. The whole process is very rewarding, teaching people about what I do and who I am through my products.

I formulate and create essential oil blends to facilitate the process of healing emotions.
I am most known for my Chakra Blend, Buenas Noches (sleeping blend), Sensual Blend (aphrodisiac blend), Aniska Blend (for calmness and focussed) and my coconut wax candles.
I’m proud to make everything myself. I formulate the blends, I package them and also make my own candles.
Everything is natural and we use the highest quality ingredients in everything we make.
What you see in my products is who I am and that’s what set me apart from others. My goal is that my customers can identify and feel all the love and passion that was put into making each product.
How do you define success?
I feel accomplished when I see how my products are working in my customer’s lives.
The biggest marker of success is getting positive feedback from my customers. It’s very rewarding to get a message, call or a review letting me know how happy or grateful they are because of how the product has facilitated healing in the process they are going through.
