Today we’d like to introduce you to Cynthia Roy.
Cynthia Roy was born and raised in the beautiful sunny Miami, Florida. At an early age, she attended New World School of The Arts as a dance major and continued to dance throughout college. At a young age, she was always into makeup, marketing, and starting her own business. She decided to use her platform on social media as a voice to promote her makeup skills, her spirituality and women empowerment. As she continued to build her platform on social media, her skills got the attention of major companies. She began to sign with major partnerships like Covergirl, Walmart, and Buxom Cosmetics to name a few. Although, she was successful in the beauty community she wanted to do more! After graduating from nursing school one of her main goals was to spread unconditional love and build connections as well within her community. Through her painful relationships, her releasing the ego, and soul shifting transformation she began her soul journey.
In December 2018, she took the plunge and became a Reiki practitioner to service her community. With this special gift, she began helping women not only look beautiful on the outside but within as well. She now uses her gift of energy healing to connect women, children, and men to find their life’s purpose, assist in the body’s natural healing processes, and balance the flow of subtle energy by releasing blockages from the body. By using Reiki, she has helped others through their spiritual journey and find a deeper awareness concerning the flow of subtle energies in and around the body and the connection between these subtle energies and one’s health. Now, she uses her platform and gift to help others ascend spiritually, love unconditionally, and to discover self-love within themselves!
Has it been a smooth road?
There have definitely been many blockages when trying to achieve success! And that’s spiritually and also on a mundane level. Life is never a smooth road and we all face obstacles that are inevitable. Some of the struggles are energy vampires, low vibrational energies, and standing out from other competition. As the world becomes a lot more complex and social media-driven, we tend to lose what’s really important. Authentic relationships, meaningful bonds, and finding ourselves. One of my blockages is finding a balance between telling women to love themselves and also beautifying themselves. It can sometimes be an oxymoron. How can you tell someone to love themselves for who they truly are but with a full face of makeup? How can you tell a woman to truly go deep within themselves and find the meaning of life? And through it all, I can only answer that question in this particular way. Self-love comes within whether it is with a full face of makeup or baring it all. Being a divine feminine is accepting yourself fully and being in your power! How I look on the outside does not take away my divine strength, my aura, my presence, my confidence, and my pheromones. When I walk into a room, I own it regardless of what you see! I AM DIVINE FEMININE!
Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am a beauty influencer that enjoys helping women learn how to beautify and love themselves. My YouTube platform has helped women gain knowledge on beauty tips, spark spiritual conversations, and opening up a dialogue about health issues. I’m also a Reiki/Spiritual healer in my community and I love to help those in my community find themselves. I am so proud to be helping those in my community find their calling, help open up about their experiences with others, and spread unconditional love. I also started to provide children and young adults with Reiki as well! I had my very first Reiki circle kids edition back in March and it was absolutely amazing to connect with children and help them manifest their dreams! My goal is to provide Reiki to children in the school systems in Miami and Broward County. I am a strong believer in providing Reiki services to children to help figure out their feelings and energy instead of detention. What I believe sets me apart is my ability to be completely raw and use my gifts to help others find their passion! I am such a passionate person and I love to spread unconditional love in every way. I want to cultivate an open, sacred, and beautiful space for people to come together and spread beautiful energy!
Tell us about your favorite and least favorites things about our city.
I love my city and it’s diversity! Being in a city that’s a melting pot has helped me grow into a well-rounded person. The ability to move throughout my city and experience different exchanges, cultures, and energy is AMAZING! We are truly a unique city and that’s what sets us apart from anywhere else! I am so proud how far we have come as a community and how we stand tall through it all. What I don’t like about our city is just the traffic but that’s inevitable!
