Today we’d like to introduce you to Todd Ray.
StingRay Graphics began in 2004 in Delray Beach, Florida. Richard, the founder of StingRay Graphics, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Design at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, and later an Associate of Science Degree in Web Design & Interactive Media at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Todd possesses that irresistible spark of unbridled creativity. He offers graphic and web design services to anyone in the United States. His motto is: “Anything you can print on, we can design on.”
Todd is a talented graphic artist with extensive experience. He has been in the printing industry for more than 15 years. His creative layouts and eye-catching designs, as well as his respect for deadlines, have made him popular with a wide range of clients representing an eclectic mix of corporate, entrepreneurial and individual interests. Todd’s artistic vision and his technical skills are a potent combination, able to lift print and electronic communications above the ordinary. His approach is a result of comprehensive professional training.
Todd founded StingRay Graphics as a freelance business operating out of his home. He wanted to start a local design company that could offer reasonable prices for his services to any large or small business locally or within the United States. Todd is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia and has always had a passion for the arts.
StingRay Graphics has local printing companies standing by along with other designers. StingRay Graphics offers a 24-hour turn around on conceptual designs, ex. business card design, logos, and corporate identity packages.
At present, he still keeps it as a side business and do freelance work. The newest account that he has added is SpeeDee Oil.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It wasn’t easy at first. I started my own business when I was laid off from my day job. From the business making cuts, I guess the good thing is that I was the last one to go.
It was my only income for a year. At the same time, I decided to go back to school and learn web design and coding/interactive media from the Florida Art Insitute in Fort Lauderdale. Landing an Associates Degree on top of my list.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about StingRay Graphics – what should we know?

I am most proud of my dedication to the creative world. I love what I do. I try to make time to be creative. It’s not easy with a day job and a three-year-old, haha! As much as I love to work and be creative, nothing is more important than spending time with my lovely wife and son.
