Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Burnett.
Tiffany certainly knows what it is to see a dream come true and how to achieve success. Born and raised in New York, she spent her entire childhood and adolescence around media. Her early inspiration was the extravagant billboards that illuminate Times Square, 42nd Street, and Broadway, which gave her a fervent passion for graphic design.
Today, Tiffany continues to exceed her own expectations as a businesswoman, mentor, and professor. As a small business owner, her passionate ambition is to help other small business owners, visually see their dreams become reality. She also has a desire to raise up the next generation of designers through mentorship and group instruction.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Once a graphic designer for a well-known, worldwide corporation, her designs, and design concepts, became their property. As an entrepreneur, her work is her own and she has the freedom and flexibility to reach beyond the limits of her imagination.
Additionally, she notes, that each designer faces different challenges in the industry. “Your motivation is always going to be tested, by your peers, your clients, your family. That’s why it is important to know your ‘WHY’. Knowing WHY you do, what you do, is critical during those rough times. I absolutely LOVE what I do and that’s what makes me stay in the game!”
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Tiffany Burnett – what should we know?

It is all about telling your story through design. Tiffany knows you have big dreams to start a business of your own. She is committed to partnering with you through the process from start to finish.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Tiffany’s greatest supporters have been her family with whom she has a deep and loving relationship, especially her parents; father Mr. Russell Burnett, stepfather, Mr. Walter Lofton and mother, the late Mrs. Yvonne Lofton. Being from an entrepreneurial family, she is able to garner wisdom and inspiration from their experience.
Tiffany has a strong network of friends who have been a constant support throughout the pursuit of her dreams. From her decision to leave New York and go to grad school in South Florida, to her to decision to stay and call it home. In addition to her friends back home, Tiffany has been blessed to meet and connect with some amazing people who have become as close as family. Without everyone’s love, support, generosity and ability to always make her smile, she never would have been able to take such a bold step.
Tiffany would be remiss if she did not mention the individuals who groomed her into the leader she is today. One such individual was Mrs. Deborah Harris of Nyack College. She was a wonderful supervisor who became an even better mentor and friend. Mrs. Harris inspired and invested in Tiffany both professionally and personally as she transformed from a young girl entering college into a business professional.
Mr. Mike Arsenault and Mrs. Alexandria (Gribble) Blayre of Digital Media Arts College (DMAC) were instrumental in developing Tiffany academically, which in turn prepared her to serve as an adjunct professor when she was invited to serve on staff a year after graduation. Tiffany hopes that she can inspire others the way that these, and other individuals, have inspired her.
