Hi Tamara, thank you so much for sitting down with us again. For folks who might have missed our initial interview, can you start by briefly introducing yourself?
My name is Tamara Benavente and I’m a photographer based in Miami.

What type of photography do you specialize in?
I shoot portraits, fashion, and small events. My style is usually eye-catching, with contrasty, bright colors.

What’s your process like, when working with your clients?
After my clients contact me, I get back to them with a proposal, based on the information they gave me, their ideas and expectations for the shoot. Typically, one of my photography packages (which are on my website) will suit their requirements. Once they choose a package, they get to sign the contract and pay the deposit. Then, the fun part begins. I’ll email with them back and forth a couple of times to exchange inspo images and design the look and feel of their session. After that, we meet for the shoot and have a blast!

What would you say it’s your main strength when it comes to your craft?
I have a great eye for composition, that comes from my background in arts and graphic design. However, I believe my main strength is that I make people feel at ease. For many of us, being in front of a camera can be daunting. I can relate! Yet, my sessions are always laid back. This is in part because I choose simple setups and minimal equipment and I don’t rush the process.

Where can people see samples of your work?
People can see samples of my work on my website: https://www.tamarabenavente.com/

Also on my two Instagram accounts:

@ellanvannin – for fashion and commercial photography
@tamarabenaventephoto – for general photography

What would you say to someone who’d like to get a photoshoot but is super camera-shy?
I understand you! I don’t typically get photographed professionally myself. Yet, if you are looking for a photographer it’s because you either need or want to get beautiful photos. So, take that big step and reach out. You won’t go wrong with me. Once we start communicating, you’ll see that I’m easy going and will make the process exciting and enjoyable.

Alright, so before we go, how can our readers connect with you to learn more and show support?
